About/Contact Us

The University of British Columbia Sports Car Club is a student-executive club based out of the University of British Columbia. We are part of the Alma Mater Society, the Student Society of UBC.

Our club was established in 1956. Over the years, our club has hosted and participated in motorsports activities, namely in the areas of AutoX, TSD Rally, and Track days.

Presently, our executive team is made up of both regular club members and also UBC students, as the latter are required to hold the President and Treasurer positions. The executive team oversees all aspects in the organization of the club and the events we hold. If you are one of our members who attends our events on a regular basis and would like to be a part of our executive team, please come up to the timing tent at one of our events and introduce yourself.

Our membership base consists of more than 150 members every year, made up of guys and gals of all ages, UBC students and non-UBC students. While having any kind of academic affiliation with UBC is NOT a pre-requisite to joining our club, a thirst for exploring your car’s limits and a bit of competitiveness does help!
