BC Champs 2012 – Final Results

Congratulations to Jim McLaughlan of Kelowna (CSP Miata) for taking both FTD and Top PAX for this year’s BC Autoslalom Championship! Also, for this year’s Top Novice, the honour goes to Budd Stanley from Victoria, driving a STR S2000! Lastly, major props to winners to all classes for a job well done!

Thank you to all volunteers for your hard work in helping with putting this year’s BC Champs event together, from planning to executing and making this event a success!

We’d also like to thank all our sponsors who supported this event, including Scion Canada, Super Street Imports, Vancouver Island Auto Parts, and Artbox.

BC Champs Early Bird Registration Extended Til June 3rd

Just a heads up to those who haven’t registered for this year’s BC Autoslalom Championship, happening on June 22-24th, the organizing committee has decided to extend the early bird price of $95 until 11:59pm Sunday, June 3rd!

Taking place at our region’s best autoslalom venue, the BC Driving Centre in Pitt Meadows, we have 68 entrants already registered! Every entrant will receive a free T-shirt, while trophies and titles to be given at the event include Top PAX, Top Novice, and all group winners. The course will be on the entire full-pad as the runway will house the pit and grid areas. This will be the event to come out for some great competition, friendly socializing, and to add new hardware to your trophy case!

Travelling from out-of-town? We have negotiated special room rates of $99 and $109 (with kitchenette) with Ramada Inn.

And don’t forget, the Maple Ridge Lions Club will be onsite to serve food and refreshments with proceeds going to support local kid’s camps and projects. So help support the kids by having your eats onsite, all for a great cause!

So come on out, join in on the fun, and race with the region’s best! And by the way, did we mention you will have a chance to drive the brand new Scion FR-S at Sunday’s Fun Event, courtesy of Scion Canada?

BC Autoslalom Championship 2012 Early Bird Registration Ends May 31st

Just a quick reminder, Early Bird Registration fee of $95 for this year’s BC Champs ends 11:59pm on Thursday, May 31st! (Regular rate of $115 applies until deadline on Wednesday June 20th)

Come out for 3 days of racing at Pitt Meadows’ BC Driving Centre’s Double Pad on June 22-24! And after the competition is over on Sunday, all drivers will be given a chance to drive the new Scion FR-S in the Equalizer challenge!

Also, the Maple Ridge Lions Club of BC will be at the event to serve food and refreshments! All of their proceeds will go to projects and camps that help kids in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. They also raise funds for the BC Children’s Hospital.

So come out and drive, socialize, and help the kids!
